What’s better than having drivable cars on a game?
You can do a lot of things with car-like driving home, going to work, going shopping, or just messing around with the NPC walking around.
Unfortunately, cars are not available in the sims 4. One of the most demanding thing in sims 4 are Cars.
There has been a talk that EA will introduce cars on their next expansion pack but we just keep waiting and waiting and nothing good is happening so far. There is also no good news from the sims mod community side. The game was released in 2014 and still, there are no cars in the game. I think this is the only drawback of the sims 4.
Anyways, you can have cars in sims 4 as a showcase outside your house. There are multiple toy cars available in the buy mode. Just place them into the world, rescale them outside your house and they look like a car. But they are not drivable. There is no custom animation yet released in the game. As from the mod community side, there are no meshes designed by the EA for such animation (Sad react). So there’s not much we can offer in this scenario.
But don’t get all sad, you can have drivable cars in the sims 4(not animated). You can place them outside your house(with actual money) and travel from one lot to another.
Sims 4 Ownable Cars Mod
There are 5 drivable cars introduced in this mod. You can find these cars under the Hobbies and Activities > Misc sort. In function Mod, Outdoors > Activities in Room Mode. The price ranges from $10000 to $20000 and can be placed on the terrain. You can travel different lots as long as your sim reaches the car and use them. There’s no custom animation available in this mod because the EA didn’t design the meshes.

How to Download and Install the Sims 4 Car Mod?
- First of all, download the mod file from the link provided below:

- After you’ve downloaded the file, extract it
- Place the content of the file into, My Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
- Open your game and go to the settings
- Enable Script Mod option
- Restart your game and enjoy
Note: This mod is a new mesh, which means it’s a brand new self-contained object and doesn’t require any specific Expansion Pack.
How to use The Sims 4 Car Mod?
To drive a car into the game, simply click on them and use the “Drive to…” interaction. After this, your sim will reach the car and a map screen will appear. Now choose the designated place and your sim will travel there.
Your sim will now receive a “Traveled in Style” +3 emotional moodlet. The emotion moodlet here depends on your choice of car.
